I know what you mean about the GTN - doing anything that requires two windows at once (cargo hold, workbench, crafting, etc) requires you to look at the two extreme edges of my 6000 pixel wide desktop! And if a crew mission completes whilst you've got windows open - if I'm lucky then one of them simply closes. If I'm not then I'm faced with windows leaping from one extreme edge to the other... ouch!
On a different note, does anybody else suffer from poor FPS in 2D surround after coming out of the galaxy map? I can get FPS in the 100s when running around the ship but simply clicking into the map and travelling somewhere, when I exit the map the FPS tanks to about 30. It has always happened for me and I was just wondering if it's a know (fixed!) problem that I've simply missed the solution for!

This fix doesn't work with Triplehead2Go? I tried auto-resolution and manually setting but they are not moving.
I guess with patch 1.2 anyone can move the hud where they want so this fix will be kind of obsolete, right?
edit: I got it working. Wrong settings.

I used to have this issue during the first monthor so of the game. I used to fix it by alt tabbing out of the game and back in. Then I messed around with graphics settings ingame until I found the right settings to make this go away for good. Running with V-synch enabled ingame, shadows turned off and shaders set to low made the issue go away. May or may not work for you.
There are a couple recommended ways to fix this but for the life of me I can't find where I came across them. I think one fix mentioned opening the galaxy map again but just leaving it open for 10 seconds or something without doing anything else and the fps will recover.

Cheers Ryukan! Knocking my shader quality down one level has fixed it for me and I haven't really noticed much of a difference.
I don't remember this being a problem in the beta, so they must have done something in a later update. I reported it in-game but they just gave me a standard reply that didn't even make sense. Oh well...

Woohoo! Patch 1.2 seems to have solved the problem at last! I've got everything back at maximum (including the new character textures), VSync off, and I can maintain 100fps+ all over my ship. Before the patch this would drop as low as 29fps after a hyperspace journey so finally I can play uninterrupted without having to switch back and forth from my desktop to 'reset' the graphics... :)

I just picked up this game.
Playing at 3600x1920 or 3880x1920 bezel corrected.
By default the game has the hud all on the left most monitor. That doesn't seem right.
I picked up the latest widescreen fixer but SW:TOR wasn't available. I found it in the Obsolete plugins.
So should it not be necessary?
I am a bit confused about this.

Hey there:) In SWTOR you can now use the in-game Interface Editor function to simply position your elements on screen:)

I tried that but I can't drag the windows to the middle or right hand screens. They get stuck at the edge of the left screen.
No one else has this issue with Nvidia Surround?

Hey there:) I am telling you that it is working:) Since I play the game on 3D Surround:) You just need to figure it out how it works;)) but try it until you get the hang of it:)

Figure out how to drag a window across to a screen? Yep I have come across that functionality before.
I can move the UI elements around inside the left screen, just not across from the left screen to the other screens. So if I wanted the HUD all on the left screen that would be perfect but I don't, want it centred.
I did have it working once, I think I was in Window mode that time - I normally play in Fullscreen.

There is something definitively wrong there... So basically you are saying your whole UI is stuck on the left screen only???

Yes, that is correct. The game world displays across the 3 screens in surround but the UI is stuck on the left and can't be dragged across to the other two screens.
The more I think about it it might be a Fullscreen versus Windowed Mode thing. Will test it out when I get a chance.
Okay, all fixed.If I start

Okay, all fixed.
If I start in Fullscreen the UI is confined to the left most monitor and can't be moved.
If I then change the setting to Fullscreen(Window) or to Windowed mode the UI spreads out to cover all three monitors. I can then go back to Fullscreen and the UI stays centred.

I'm having an ongoing issue with SWTOR and Eyefinity. This issue happened before, and I was able to resolve it by deleting the client_settings.ini file. However that's not working anymore.
The problem is that the UI and environments display under the correct aspect ratio, but the characters appear stretched. (See Screenshot.)
Flawless Widescreen doesn't seem to have a plugin for SWTOR.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.
Thanks.

Set the Same Resolution both in Windows and the Game.

That is already the case. I've also deleted the .ini file. And tried manually editing the config file.
