Devil May Cry 5 no 21:9 support

Guys i have tired everything! Please HELP!

I have two 27 inch monitors connected with surround and my native resolution is 5120 x 1440.
I have successfully applied the 48x9 patch provided which takes away the black bars on the sides of screen
but the picture seems stretched and now there are black bars on the top and bottom instead.
I should also mention that it is consistent in menu and gameplay.


I have also tried messing with the hex values to no avail.

Hoping someone might have some guidance to get widescreen working. Im running an eyefinity setup with 3 27" monitors. With bezel compensation, resolution of the desktop is 5880x1080. The game initially launches in a window that fills the center monitor and then after a few seconds just dissapears. If i turn off the side monitors bringing resolution down to 1920x1080, the game launches and plays perfectly. If im stuck with a single monitor then so be it, but if this is as simple as a hex edit or exe patch, then i would love to get eyefinity working. This game would be epic on 3 27" monitors. I am running non denuvo. Any suggestions from those smarter than me?

Why proper fix for curent patch isn't out yet? It's almost a weak since patch...And I'm afraid to corrupt saves with older EXE ....QQ

Karazija, I reverted to previous build without issues. No problem with saves.

For safety sake, you could always backup your save files prior to reverting. Then if you do have an issue just update to latest patch again and you will still have your save data.

Delete the file dmc5config.ini

I did what you write here but did not work.
Replaced the Exe
And removed the ini.

I reckon its because the pirated downloaded version is not an installed version. Its just the full game you unzip?

Jackfuste has been real busy with stuff(Sekiro fixes, other games, life, etc) just be patient, the Dude does all of he work for free so we are lucky he fixes any of the games at all.

I am waiting for the current build's fix as well, I am sure when he has time he will get to it and knows about it.

I'm guessing it's better to wait for the April 1st update to release anyway, as there will be probably be a new patch with updated files. After that, a fix would be awesome.

as you expected the game is broken again :S i even tryed to register on capcom forum (to ask for native 21:9 support) with 2 different mail but everytime i finish to register, i try to log in and it says that i entered wrong credentials, then i try to retrive the password and no mail arrives on my inbox or spam... its sad...

Is it just me or does Bloody Palace not show when using the new patch ?
Probably no more using denuvo free version...

With Bloody Palace? I hope there's a new fix for the new patch. Bloody Palace is an essential DMC feature. Can't go without it.

The game stops on the gray screen.
