Thank you folks for the 21:9 help. I'm new to ultrawide and caught something in Witcher 3 that googling didn't shine any light on. Has anyone else experienced this bug? I browsed the thread and saw no mention of this, so I didn't know if it's unique to patch 1.21 or not.

When pinning formulae the list is pushed out of the crafting UI safezone. I did a little MS paint arrow to point where I believe the pin should be. Any ideas?

I have downloaded the Blood and Wine Expansion through Gog Galaxy and the cut scene black bars are back.

Is there a fresh 3440 x 1440 exe download I can use to get rid of them? Is that it in the previous post?

Use the mine on top it should work, some guys here confirm it's also for GOG W3.

Can you check your copy and see if you experience the same crafting bug that I mentioned two posts up?

Yop I've noticed it too, that's probably because of the new reworked UI. But it's not that of a problem, for me at least ;-)

I'm also new to UltraWidescreen 3440x1440.

In User Settings I changed the uiHorizontalFrameScale from its current =0.93889 to =1.3 (simply because previous to the 1.21 update I had changed it to 1.3 from its then 1, and I assumed I should do the same again).

Don't know if I should have or not, but everything seems to be still working okay although I also get the same side thing as you show in your image.

I'm using these, since I started play on 21:9, it pushes the Witcher medailon & minimap/quest to the borders (top left/right). But I'm on 2560x1080!

uiVerticalFrameScale=1.044
uiHorizontalFrameScale=1.048

Hmmmm. Do I just play with the HorizontalFrameScale figures till I find one that works fine or is there a way of calculating what it should be?

You can play with it. One value as name suggest changes the vertical other horizontal, bigger numbers means you move the UI more to the sides. But try with small steps 1.02 1.03 etc.. even 1.025 depends on your resolution of course ;)

There could be a way to implement an in-game sliders menu for that - I'm looking in making it.

Hm I've managed to done it by some trial & error.

1) Didn't find a way to make it count in more finer gradients (1.04xy etc)
2) Must reload a save to take effect

Thanks Martan,

I opened up the .exe in a hex editor and I knew I needed to change 398EE33F to 8AE31840. But I am unable to find 398EE33F. I can't use control+f in the hex editor to find it. What is the best way to search for that value so I can just do it myself next time?

We are here to help each other. And when I launch the game under new patch I'm creating the modified exe for myself so to upload it and share it takes few minutes, and if it helps somebody I'm glad ;)
