Looks about right - the problem you mention is how games use the Field of View (FOV). Your fov seems to be quite high, you can noticeably lessen the effect by reduce fov. Test it easily in game by pressing ` (this is they key directly below the ESC key, or directly left of the 1 key.
then simply type:
fov 80
or whatever other number between say 60 and 100. When you are happy with one, use that number in Hayden's tool.
Ok, i see that the effect imn trying to describe does not really come accross in the picture, it just seems real bad on the monitors, but as the pic comes out ok ish i see thats what i was seeing on others screenies,
Thanks for the tip as well ill give them a test tommorrow.

Yes I noticed also that FXAA messes things up. However version 0.8 can still be used with FXAA with the correct map, by using the "-" "+" toggle:) That is how I am using it:) as I do like the FXAA injector.
That never worked for me. It must be different with what ever FXAA injector some one uses, best to ditch it I think.

I have a general question for both HaYDen and/or Helifax. It looks as if you guys are gonna be at it every other week with the rate they are supposed to be coming out with patches. Given how far you have dug into the game to fix the menus, do you suppose it might be possible for someone to just redo an interface like DarNified UI that works well with multi-monitor setups, or will we have to deal with this stuff every other week?
I am running version 1.0 and I've had no problems at all with HaYDen's v4 solutions. I rarely run into any trademark Bethesda oddities. I think I'm gonna stick with this until a major update is released.
Does anyone know if the mod QD Inventory works with HaYDen's fix?

I'm running iCCC

I'm running iCCC (http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11) and Skyrim Enhanced Shaders(http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=822) and I'm able to kind of run using HaYDeN's 0.8, but I do ALOT of +/-'s depending on the screen.
ENBSeries(http://enbdev.com/download_en.htm) patches are included with Skyrim Enhanced Shaders (bug fixes and feature enhancements).
I am also using the 4GB Patch and SKSE (Skyrim Script Extender - http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topic/1288179-wipz-skyrim-script-extender-skse)
I imagine all of this makes changes some of the resulting memory addresses. Hopefully we find a recompiled interface script soon (maybe with the dev kit in January) so we don't have to rely on memory hacks anymore.
Using all of these just makes it a different game (for the better!)... Just look at the screens (especially enhanced shaders) and you'll see what I mean.

Not running FXAA.
Right click 0.8 - run as admin
Right click skyrim4GB - run as admin
Game plays stable without huge issues. Map works. Skill selection is still fiddly, looks like clicks are registered further to the left then where you point the arrow. And I still want to use a welding mask whenever I come across flame magic.

Just to update you HaYDeN. I restarted my comp with 0.8 working after I took out the FXAA injector and when I got back into Windows, the map problem came up again. I then disabled the FXAA option in the SkyrimPref.ini and verified it worked, I then restarted, it was still working. I then re-enabled FXAA in the ini file and the map went stupid again, I then went back disabled it and it's working again, this is obviously a problem with Nvidia based systems with FXAA enabled in game.
I am also having an odd issue with flickering with shadows when ever I sprint. I am curious if any one else is having this issue, both on horse back or on foot, in towns or forest area.
Oh yeah on a side note, the patch did not fix the souls not being absorbed nor did it fix the dragons not attacking, so this whole thing has been an exercise in futility for me. I am going to bring it up on the Bethesda Forums.

Same problem here as fortismilites, it immediately crashes. 11.11c and 0.8 didn't do the trick for me :(
system:
stock version 1.2 (uk version on a german steam client)
amd 11.11c
single 5870
res 5760x1080 (bezel 6024x1080)
win 7 64-bit
ultrawide fix 0.8 (as admin and everything is successfully patched in the injection log)
game settings:
aspect ratio: standard (4:3 or 5:4)
resolution: blank (SkyrimPrefs.ini untouched) <- is that the correct way to get the right res??
no fxaa
last version that did work for me was 0.1. any help would be very appreciated! there is really no way back to just one monitor...
hosh
@fortismilites: since we almost run the same system, did it work for you?

Oh yes the color does change and a lot as I'm using sepia colors FXAA. It is a complete dullness to full color change.

I'm using FXAA High from the launcher and not having any issues at all. No backward flying dragons so far (7 hours of play, I've see like 5 of them) either.
BF3 also has crazy issues if you start jacking with settings though. If you set them once to what you know works after deleting the prefs.ini and then launch the game performance is good. Haven't tried this with Skyrim but its worth a shot.
Reason I say that is, I haven't touched my settings in the launcher since I initially launched the game v1 retail Steam install.
Try deleting your skyrim.ini & skyrimPrefs.ini, pull up launcher and set the way you want (mine is all maxed 4xAA, 16xAF, FXAA on) launch the game to title screen NOT using 4GB or HaYDeN patches so it recreates the .ini(s), exit game, edit .ini with your resolution and only other change I made was fshadowdistance=3000 cause at Ultra its 8000. Then launch the game with HaYDeN's fix and 4GB launcher if you're using it.
That's what worked for me on Nvidia hw and I haven't and don't jack with settings or mods at all. Haven't changed settings or edited my .ini since I installed.
The game is still in a buggy state, obviously. Using mods right now is only going to frustrate the user in my view cause its just stacking broken on top of broken.

Huh, my bro who is running a similar rig to mine but still running with two EVGA 580's in SLI and his resolution is 3840x1024 I think. I know he did the same thing I did and his problem went away as well. Your running a 590 right?
