I try myself with hex editor but i found only 1 instance to change and it's not working.

Hi there, I want to stretch the cut scenes in AC-O.
Could you explain how to make it with HxD?
I tried out this method:

Nevermind, I found the solution. A post on Reddit had the answer.

1. Open Program HxD > Click File and Open ACOdyssey.exe
2. Ctrl+F > Click "Hex Values" > Click Search Direction "All" > Write 39 8E E3 3F
3. change EVERY Instance and Replace Value With Hex Your Aspect Ratio Resolution, Here is the list.

2560x1080 = 26 B4 17 40
3440x1440 = 8E E3 18 40
3840x1080 = 39 8E 63 40

But this do not work for the cut scenes. Thank you in advance!!!

Sorry you are having so much trouble with HxD loki31. It can seem intimidating to people who aren't familiar with it. Unfortunately, the description you reposted that I made earlier is about as easy and plain English as it gets. Luckily, I have previously posted the patched exes for the current patch, 1.2.0, for Uplay above. If you need a Steam version please check SoundlezZ's post. Try one of them first and see if that works for you. If it doesn't, but it really should, let us know and I'll see about helping you further.

I am one of those people who have issues with running this game on 1920x1080 16:9. Could anybody post the hex values for 1920x1080 so I can try to patch the exe and see if that fixes my problem ?

Big thanks to everone helping out with this, cutscenes without black bars look SO much nicer. I have a question though...the cutscenes look perfect...but seem to actually USE the whole width of the screen. So now I'm wondering, is the game actually naturally rendering these scenes now and using the whole screenspace? Or is the top and bottom cropped from the original cutscene? I was expecting the edges to just be filled in with the background, but the characters seem to be able to appear close to the edges of my screen, so just adding width to the existing cutscene doesn't appear to be what happened. Just curious if anyone knows the answer to this.

Hi. First post. Been using the 3440x1440 cutscene fix and works great. Unfortunately the latest (and hopefully last) patch 1.4.0 has broken it. If anyone can get it working again I and many others I'm sure would be greatly appreciative.
