So...Can any good soul please upload the .exe for 3440x1440 ?

I finally figured out the issue...I was substituting the wrong value. The value quoted in the fix is for 3440x1440. That doesn't work for Nvidia Surround resolution like 5892x1080 which is what I'm using. I used the value of E8 93 AE 40 which is the HEX equivalent for 5.455555 (in reverse order). 5892/1080=5.455555. 5.455555 in HEX is 40 AE 93 E8. Reverse it and substitute and you're good to go for 5760 x 1080 resolution.

You have to rename the file: delete .3440x1440 or .2560x1080 from the filename and voilà ! witcher3.exe with wolf pendant icon and everything.

I've downloaded every single fix here to remove the black bars in cutscenes, none of it seems to work for me
The last fix link provided by Ci7rus got to me with damaged files, I use 7zip to unzip it, does have to do with it? Can you share it again please? Does this fix works with the 1.12 steam version? The only thing to do it's to switch the .exes on the bin folder? Am I missing something?

Anyone have a gog fix for this for 1.12.1? I need it for 2560 x 1080.

About six threads below this one is one entitled 'Grandpa needs a little reassurance'. That's me, and I have the Gog 1.12 version of Witcher 3.

In the second post in that thread I think you may find the appropriate answers to whatever you are looking for. Amoveo gave me help and the relative link for 2560 x 1080, although I used the 3440 x 1440 link..

Patch 1.20 incoming for the last DLC! Not looking forward to broken mods and 21:9 again.

You guys have been real good with the fixes. Is there a post with the hex values that need changing? I'm terrible at finding info.

But I can't test it because I don't have a 3440x1440 panel and VSR is not working with AMD.

I've made an archive of the modified exe to save some dl time and also a direct dl link.
It works for both UWD - so 2560x1080 and 3440 x 1440. Floating point = 8AE31840

Does anyone have the original exe of the 1.12 game? I need it to the update the game from 1.12, the update installer won't work without it

Verify Game cache on Steam or GOG Then try updating.
