I'd like to buy the Eyefinity6 card as well. Any update on pricing and availability?

My money would be on the 26th of March for official reviews after some sort of NDA would be lifted.

When will the rest of us without matching monitors get bezel management? I have 3 1920x1200 24" monitors and because of the mismatched edid's I cant use bezel management.

Can Dave or SunSp*t give a confirmation?

Do you think Crossfire + Eyefinity will ever work as advertised?
Till now, I thought it was a driver issue but I understand it could also be a crossfire connector/bandwidth issue.
Thank you.

Can we get 3840x720 (and 3840x800 ?) resolution option? Pleeeeeeeeze? :D
720p is very popular, is what the consoles use and still looks good when you throw on enough AA and high detail settings. It would let people with 16:9 displays drop down the res and still maintain Eyefinity.
It may seem very low but Metro 2033 and Settler 7 ain't running so hot on my 5970 and it doesn't get much faster than that. :(
The 2400x600 option isn't very useful for 16:9 or 16:10 screens.

Okay,
1. What's the release date of the 5870 Eyefinity 6 Edition?
2. What's the ETA on ACTIVE Single-Link Mini-DP / DP -> DVI Adapters?

Well it would have been nice if the stock had lasted more than a few hours. The real issue is that we are still supply constrained. Unlike certain other parties who shall remain unnamed, we didn't chew up limited 40nm capacity wasting thousands and thousands of wafers building obsolete products.
I'll add my voice internally to the clamor for more of this product.

Dave, SunSp*t, are there any serious plans to look at the known driver issues with FSX under Windows Vista and 7, e.g. lack of vsync, AA issues on clouds etc.
I'm looking at getting an Eyefinity setup and this is a potential rock in the water for me that I wasn't really aware about, could scupper my plans altogether...

I'm curious when the ETA on 5x1 profile drivers will be available? I've noticed that the "leaked" 10.4 and 10.5 drivers don't support it. Not even sure if these drivers are real.
thanks

When are you guys going to remove the restrictions on bezel compensation and let people with different brand monitors use the feature?

When they can get it working adequately, I would imagine.

There is nothing involved in getting it "working adequately" other than removing that absolutely arbitrary and pointless restriction.

I would have to agree with that, athough I'm sure they wanted to play it safe with EDID when BM first came out.
---side note---
I think I'm getting the wrong impression with these banner ads up top that are just Intel/Nvidia.

Why are you getting the wrong impression? The advertiser is Scan, and those are the banners they chose. If someone wanted to purchase adspace and advertise ATI/AMD products, I would gladly take their money.

Maybe just the irony of it...Whatever pays the bills! 3 hail Mary's and 100 clickthroughs for my transgression.

So I am selling my 30" 2560x1600 and I am getting ready to sell my three 2007fp 20" 1600x1200 monitors as I have officially given up on waiting for them to support PLP setups.
I ordered three Dell U2410s and two Sapphire 5870 Toxic 2GB cards yesterday so I don't have to deal with the headache and heartbreak of waiting and waiting for PLP setups to be supported. Now of course, since I am getting rid of my PLP setup they will probably support PLP in the next driver release right? That would be my luck.

Irony is agreed. But, we're not beholden to any one company and try to give everyone a "fair shake." And, I will advertising $$$ from just about anyone who will offer it.

There will be irony in your near future.
