Has anyone done the requirement for an achivement when Steam was in Offline mode, logged in a few days later and the Achievements appear?
Because Just Cause 2 just awarded me three achievements, which I did ages ago on my current save, but I haven't played Just Cause 2 online for a while before this...

True. The year is 2011 and...
- 1$ is still 1€. When will they finally realize that Europeans would buy even more games if prices in € were lower ??
- you still can't download anything while playing.
Other than that, I've now received and sent so many gift passes and free games that I find it harder and harder not to like Steam a lot...
It just pauses stuff when you start a game with steam. It doesn't have any additional checks AFAIK.
QFT right here. It's just a feature to satisfy the absent minded people who absolutely must have all their bandwidth available for gaming, but would forget to pause their download of the game they just purchased for a ridiculously low price.

Alt-Tab is your friend here: Alt-Tab out of the game, resume the download, Alt-Tab back into the game. Works for me...
I know it's stupid point but some games like Dirt 2 require you to Alt-Enter to re-enter fullscreen, otherwise the silly thing stays in windowed mode and gives you the poos. Just in case someone has that problem of it not returning to fullscreen like I did.
Weirdly, when I was running a 4870X2, Just Cause 2 would always start up windowed. A quick Alt-Enter fixed it... but it doesn't do it on my nVidia rigs, nor (for testing purposes) a Radeon 3650-based laptop.
