Should I move to a Cordless Mouse?

Post by Tanuki »

7-9 hours of straight gaming (I go to LANs etc) the battery takes around 4-5 hours to charge

Wow. I will never go cordless apparently.

The G7 has a magazine type battery that can be switched out in mere seconds (it comes with 2). Only reason I didn't get it was because I liked the style of the MX Revolution more and it had more buttons.

The G7's life per charge is a lot lower than normal wireless/rechargeable mice, so hopefully they'll release another gaming grade mouse that doesn't die as quickly. D:
And more buttons. No mouse5? ;_;

i love my G7 logitech wireless gaming mouse, but recently the battery has been dying almost daily, and swapping is getting annoying, so then i bought the Loitech G9, which is absolutely fantastic gaming mouse, but it's wired :( ...i ordered a G7 again from amazon since they're out of production, but I'd like to know, will there be a wireless version of the G9? G10 maybe?

also are there any excellent wireless gaming mice out there besides logitech? i'm assuming MS doesn't do gaming mice right? thanks!

MS has like...3 gaming mice? The IME3.0 (wired, optical), the Habu (joint with Razer, wired, laser), and the Sidewinder (wired, laser?).
The first one is real old, a tried and true model brought back after MS finally realized they should make more. :P
None of them are wireless, so probably not what you're looking for.
