Post by Apple »

Sorry guys I left the guild. :(
I got into an Australian guild with a friend of mine, as I said before im Australian.
But I can come back. But so far no one has been on to play with in WSGF guild. :( Hopefully the WSGF guild will pick up and more people will play, then I can come back :)

Sadly welcome to GW, unless your in a hardcore guild that pvp's every day. Chances are that the guild will die because no ones on :/ People just lose interest in GW way too fast.

It's rather sad to see the WSGF guild not work itself out, even though I'm not part of it.

But my guild (X-Universe) is normally open for new, active members, particularly people with a good reference (;)). We may have started out as a bunch of X players, but that bit has really faded to the background rather a lot.

There are normally always at least a few people online (at least as far as I can see). We have a forum, wiki, TeamSpeak server, some fine allies and a decent GvG ranking last time I was logged (though the others seem to have lost a couple of games today). And of course the greatest boss of them all :D

If you're interested, take a peek at http://www.akim.dk/xu (this site will most likely be down tomorrow 13-03-07, so don't go shouting the link doesn't work :p).

Personally, I'm afraid the most I do these days is GvG... other games have drawn my attention for the time being.

Heh... but do try to get your own guild working. Would be great to see it go well, if possible.

Oh, but you can if you have an intel mac due to the wonderful world of bootcamp.

Um, I would join if I still played Guild Wars; Nightfall and other changes to the game killed it for me, though.

The thing I loved about Guild Wars (mind you, I had played Guild Wars since before it was released) was that it was like an anti-MMO for me, no grinding, no mindless leveling and so on. I only needed to farm if I wanted to buy stuff and was easy to farm (especially with a primary warrior with access to Droknar's Forge).
But Nightfall and other changes (such as making skills go up to 1 platinum to buy, and making enemies run away. . . .) turned me off, and I have not been able to get into it again.

I took my main character (a W/NE) to Nightfall and stopped playing after that because of having to kill at least 240 of a certain type of guy after talking to certain people and going to certain areas and so on, or having to do a bunch of quests to get Sunspear Points.

Weird, thats the exact reason why i was not into GW all that much, it got boring fast once i had nothing to do but PVP at the end, PvE was essentially done once you got to the end.

Cool. I've started playing regularly again (pretty much daily). Made it up to 17th in the past couple of days, and going through the story missions and exploring at a pretty fast clip (at least for me) and got some heroes. Still going through the Prophecies campaign.

Couldn't find that name.

Ibrin Liliestedt - an old D&D character, just like "Rhynn Dohn."

Tried typing it into friends list but it didn't work... said it didn't exist and I typed it in just like it was spelt here unless you didn't make that account yet...

He's in my friends list, so at least it existed before. Possibly he may have deleted the character and made another one...

If you add one character it adds the whole account. "Ibrin Liliestedt" dident work for me either.
