The latest issue of PC Gamer has Racer_S' patch for BioShock. I wonder if Racer_S knew it was going in?

It's been a while, but the Far Cry 2 issue got us in a number of places. Most noteworthy were:

Forgot about this...

In PC GAMER UK - Issue 199 - April 2009

"Play Faster" segment - Far Cry 2

I want to play in widescreen.
Annoyingly, Far Cry 2 has no widescreen option - a curious omission considering most of us now have those stretchy monitors. While it's hoped this will be included in a an official patch at some point, there is a tool you can download to extend your peripheral vision from WidescreenGamingForum (tinyurl.com/b65pho). Unfortunately, it may get detected by PunkBuster as a hack and you'll be kicked from multiplayer games. You have been warned.

I've essentially stopped reading tech mags, as they're months behind t'internet. :(

Not to mention they're now sodding expensive - £6.99?! For less than 150 pages in some cases!

Not all that much has happened recently. Most of the stuff here seems to be generated by uproars like Bioshock and Far Cry 2.

The only things I've seen externaly within recent times is a number of places linking to the fovcalc tool that I created here for WSGF.

StumbleUpon
overclock.net 3rd post down.
overclock.net - linking to the l4d2 wiki page I wrote.
Maxi's Domain

There are also a couple of reddit.com posts and Pirates, Vikings and Knights II Forums, umong many other forums and blogs ive read across the year that also linked to the fovcalc tool and other stuff on WSGF.

Might not be front page stuff, but it does show that users are speading the love for WSGF in their posts on other forums.

Yea. I'm letting pretty much all my PC and gaming magazine subscriptions expire. Single issues were always too expensive. Gonna get back into reading comic books.

Indeed, I've also seen WSGF benchmarks linked on [H] (specifically the 1GB vs 2GB one)

Forum posts aren't really press coverage though.
