Zoomed in Lock picking or Darkened lock picking?

Darkened lock picking for me.
Don't like the zoomed in version.

Anyway, thanks a lot for making this game playable.

Definatley zoomed in.In

Definatley zoomed in.

In some dark caves, it is impossible to see the lockpick.

Zoomed. Not only does the dark make it awkward sometimes, but since I started the game with your original zoomed fix, I'm very use to it.

doesn't matter at the moment, but it will when I go to generate a new play-through. Thanks for your continued support!

0.4A works brilliantly here.

0.4A works brilliantly here. (Have not tried B)

The zoomed locks will take some getting used to but fast travel with no wonky textures, all menus, books, scrolls correct, Level up works fine, map works perfect.

Thanks HaYDeN!

Was getting quite a bit of CTDs 0.3 but Large Address Aware has remedied that completely.

Yes you should start playing it! That is the reason at some point I stopped poking around with the UI and started playing it!
As for the lock-picking question: I think doesn't matter for me as long as it is not DARK:))

[quote] Hayden, any chance you could let me know if this could be the reason why it's not working for me?

Anyone using Hayden's 0.3 and later fixes on 32 bit?

Hey BobMarkinson, i contacted HaYDeN today and he told me it should work on 32 bit, but he cant test it, are you running it as admin ?

Hi Thales100,

Check this out. Someone apparently found hundreds of hidden .ini variables. Some of the more interesting ones i saw scanning thru the post were things like

Finventory3dMenuZoomScale
FAllow30Shaders
Various menu related scaling options etc (such as main menu etc)

I wonder if these new ini variables could be manipulated to enhance the multi screen experience?

Btw ive been using HaYDens .4 release and loving it !!

Running Skyrim at 6048x1200, and tried both 0.4A and 0.4B, and can't get them to work properly. (the menus are tiny tiny in the left part of the image)
0.3 works just fine, except for the skills part. :)

edit: oh and it's zoomed in when lockpicking.

Thanks for your work!

Yup, Skyrim_UW runs without problems. I click on inject patch and run Skyrim. Once the TESV.EXE process is detected by Skyrim_UW, Skyrim_UW does its thing as seen below which immediately causes TESV.EXE to crash back to desktop with an access violation. No chance to alt-tab as the crash happens within a second. In any case, the output log of SKyrim_UW is seen below:

+ Searching for RUNNING Skyrim Process...
+ Skyrim process found...
+ Process opened successfully!
+ Executing ASM injection...
+ Allocating additional memory to process...
+ Generating Function call 1...
+ Function 1 written successfully...
+ Generating Function call 1...
+ Generating Function call 2...
+ Function 2 written successfully...
+ Patching Mouse Handler...
+ Patched Mouse Handler Successfully...
+ Patching Overscaling..
+ Patched Overscaling Successfully...
+ Too close for missles, switching to guns (switching to hotkey mode)
+ Skyrim thread exited... we're done!

As you can see, no error here and it's still running after Skryim crashes. It's TESV.EXE that gets borked when Skyrim_UW hooks into its process. The 0.1 fix worked without problems (but obviously had its limitations).

Yes, steam version. I can either run skyrim via the unmodified launcher or run the tesv.exe process itself. Same result.

I'm using Hayden solution

Post by Ismelda »

I'm using HaYDeN solution 0.4A and it works perfectly. On version 0.3 I was forced to use the "-" hotkey after each special menu (Invetory, Map, Book reading and so on) but with version 0.4a everything is perfect. On my 5760x2160 resolution I set the Number of monitors to 6 of course and he 3D model Scale to 2. Then it is all as it should have been from the start!

Thank you so much for this!
