Mayh3M wrote:Hello I am having a problem using Flawless Widescreen with Dark Souls 2...
There's no fix for the black border; it's the issue with running in an aspect ratio other than 16:9.
Either disable the HUD fix (which makes it extend all the way) or live with them awkwardly stopping. Or ask Hayden if he could possibly get them removed entirely, as they're absolutely pointless, like the bloody eye effect.
I myself don't use the HUD fix as it keeps them centered where they are in 16:9 instead of move them to the borders of the screen, which makes no sense and is quite annoying. I'd like to see that changed so it keeps them on the edges of the screen for your primary monitor.
So the game can't be played in fullscreen mode in 21:9 - that's a shame.
I do hope someone finds a fix for these issues in Dark Souls 2 + SOTFS at some point since it really is a great game. Widescreen Fixer seems to have no profiles either.

Hi! Not shure if this is the correct thread for this but: I've been using Flawless for some time without any problems (thanks btw for an excellent tool!) but since buying a new computer / using win8,1 i cant get it to work properly. When running Flawless first time i was nagged for some dll:s so i installed the C++ 2010 Re-distributable Package linked to from flawlesswidescreen.org. Now Flawless is running and installing plugs, but when trying to run GTA V - it once again nags me (can't start FASM_wrapper.exe) for MSVCP100.dll (i have checked, the file is there!) when booting up the game, and i still get the black bars 16:9 cut scenes. What am i doing wrong? I have tried reinstalling both Flawless and c++ 2010 and running both Flawless and GTA as admin. Please help!

I have been trying for 4 days to make Wolfenstein the Old blood to work too.
When I launch the game it says :
Code: Select all
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood - Path=...\---==== INSTALLED GAMES ====---\Wolfenstein The Old Blood\WolfOldBlood_x64.exe (64bit)
Base Address=0x2F80000, Process ID=4184, Version=Automatically Detect (Hybrid) -> Detected: 1.0.0.0
Resolution=2680x1440, Aspect=1.861, Monitors=2x1, Bezel Comp=True - (\\.\DISPLAY1 on AMD Radeon R9 200 Series)
(AspectRatio) Default=3.00, New=3.14
(Movies) Left=0, Width=0, Height=0
...in Flawless Widescreen bottom window. It is written : Monitors=2x1 so maybe there is something wrong with the plugin. I have 3 monitors in 7680x1440 resolution.
Running from Quad R9 290x.

Running Fury X with 4960x1600p (5308x1600p) PLP-Eyefinity setup.
Flawless detects it wrong with AMD Detection. I have to use manual setup to make it work right. As can be seen from the screenshot, it only detects 2 monitors even though I have Eyefinity set-up with 3 monitors.

Windowed mode works just fine for eyefinity/surround or any other resolution for Warcraft.

Is there any hope for a fix for Resident Evil 4, or is it something that's beyond the capabilities of a mod? It seems to have been broken for a while now.

Can you please add support for Battlefield Hardline? I have been putting off playing the campaign because it is locked to 60 FoV like BF3 and BF4.
I would appreciate it very much.

Does it still work on Windows 10? I'm getting an error that it was not able to start correctly (0x000007b). Tried running it as administrator, but it's no different. It worked for me before, on Windows 8.
EDIT: Looks like it works now. No idea what happened, I did nothing.

This tool is a lifesaver for those of us with a 21:9 display - thank you!
Is this tool still being supported/updated?

Yes, it would seem that the tool is still being supported. Hayden is pretty quick on adding support for new games.

The skyrim plugin doesnt seem to work too well..
The skyUI isnt scaling properly (too big), and the games own menus are all partially rendering below screen.
Im running softTH to run 3 screen mode on my dualscreen setup,
ive tried letting it detect, and feeding resolutions manually, but it just wont respond.

Hi, thanks for making this great program Flawless Widescreen! I use it mainly for Skyrim, which i'm around 500 hrs into!
Anyway I hadn't played for a while. When I loaded it recently its kinda weird.
I have 3 screen Eyefinity 5760x1080. The main view is fine and is on the correct screens. But the HUD is now appearing on my left hand screen, rather than the center!
It's a little bit annoying. I tried playing without flawless, but that's just rubbish!
Please, has anyone had this problem, or know how I can re-arrange my HUD to the correct screen? i.e. the one in the middle, not on the left screen.
Thanks in advance, hoping to get back into Skyrim and actually finish the blooming game!
Cheers, Bully.

I got it working now (apparently it went nuts over dynamic range resolution set by nvidia experience),
but now in skyrim I can not use the fast travel map, there are no icons on the map, it seems the entire HUD overlay is missing.

Does anyone know if an update is coming for Wolfenstein : The old blood?
The videos are not centered on one screen anymore, they are spread all over my 3 monitors, and streched... Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I just bought FIFA 15 yesterday to have some fun with my son on a triple screen setup but FIFA15 just won´t use all 3 screens even though I ser res to 5760x1080 in settings.
FIFA 14 worked like a charm but 15 just doesnt work, so will there be an update for flawless widescreen for FIFA 15? As I googled it real quick, obviously noone found a way to play it on triple screens yet.

BLACKLIGHT RETRIBUTION is listed as supported.
The thing is this game has been patched and now Flawless Widescreen doesn't fix it anymore.
Would be great if FW could get an updated BLACKLIGHT RETRIBUTION profile. Thanks!

I got Ghost Recon Future soldier the other day and noticed that it had letterboxing at 2560x1080 that behaves exactly the same as the letterboxing that Black Flag experiences. Does this mean that a fix could be able to be ported out? Is there a way I can do this. Honestly I have 0 experience with this sort of thing, and I'm not sure how difficult it it. In my head it seems as simple as redirecting the fixes from AC4:BF files to the Ghost Recon files :') although I'm sure that its not that easy! Any help would be appreciated .
