Ok i tried the 3440x1440 = 8E E3 18 40 and it also works with my 3840x1600 Resolution, ty sooo much bro.

They didnt do anything, 1.06 doesnt work without the hex edit.

The hex edit works perfectly though. Its crazy that they cant figure this out themselves after making such a fantastic game. I think its the same old thing, the devs dont own a 21:9 monitor so they never even notice its broken.

I came across this thread while trying to solve an issue with ACO. Hopefully someone here may have some guidance.

Computer specs are:
Crosshair VI Hero WiFi Motherboard
AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
16GB Gskill Ripjaws V DDR4 PC3200
2x Powercolor Golden Sample RX580 8gb
3x Acer XF270H Monitors in 3x1 Landscape Eyefinity configuration

Resolution is 5904x1080

The game runs flawlessly with one exception. I cannot see any dialogue options or the menu during cutscenes. I have tried the HxD edits to the .exe file that are listed in this thread and none of them have solved this, presumably because none of them are for my resolution. I have also tried numerous lower resolutions with the same result. If i set screen display area to centered, the hud does move to the center display during normal gameplay, but the game crashes to desktop when trying to start a cutscene.

If i revert to 1920x1080 on a single monitor, it works perfectly. Any suggestions for how i might overcome this one hurdle and get ultra wide working? I have tried the above on both 1.06 and 1.07 with the same results. Currently running 1.07.

i used a 3840x1600 monitor, no matter place the 3440x1440 exe or edit the exe by my self, i doesn't work, can somebody hep.

attached the screenshot

even on 16:9 with 1360*768 i have a square box with black bars. when i put your file the game doesn't start.

can anybody help with the combined HEX value for 1600x900 screen?

Has anyone had any luck patching version 1.1.1 of the UPLAY binary? Replacing the 16:9 hex strings every updated has been working like a charm for me all the way up until this update. Now it doesn't seem to be working.

I still find 12 instances of the 16:9 string in the EXE like before, but replacing them doesn't seem to make a difference. I also notice that 21:9 still shows as an aspect ratio option in the game's menu. Previously, patching the game would force the menu to only allow 16:9 as a selectable aspect ratio option.

1. Open Program HxD > Click File and Open ACOdyssey.exe
2. Ctrl+F > Click "Hex Values" > Click Search Direction "All" > Write 39 8E E3 3F
3. change EVERY Instance and Replace Value With Hex Your Aspect Ratio Resolution, Here is the list.

2560x1080 = 26 B4 17 40
3440x1440 = 8E E3 18 40
3840x1080 = 39 8E 63 40

I followed the instructions that Bumpers provided and it worked! It was actually very simple to do. Thank you for this information.

I edited the hex values for steam version 1.1.1 2560x1080.
Be sure to back-up your current exe file just in case something goes wrong!!!

I just got the season pass and downloaded the first DLC. The exe didn't change and still WORKS during cutscenes. If you are on Uplay, try downloading the appropriate exe I have provided in a previous post. If you are on Steam, you will need to edit the exe using the instructions I provided on page 11. Hope this helps.

I tried to edit the Hex, I play on Steam but it doesn't work.
It worked before.
I did it like in your description.

I need at least hex values for 5:4 display = 1280:1024 monitor please.
