How exactly are you guys

How exactly are you guys running this game?
I'm with a 590 Nvidia, 5760x1080 resolution, 301.24 drivers, and the fps results are quite poor. The main problem seems to be the texture cache, because when I reduce it to LOW, fps does improve. But not having HIGH texture cache in a game like RAGE is big deal.
Do I need to be doing something in the settings, outside the game, or in the Nivida Control Panel? People running the game with 3-moniters on Youtube are having fantastic fps, so I seem to be doing something wrong.
Oh and BTW, Hayden's new fix works like a charm. :)

I still use an edited config file...it helps sharpen things up and load the mega texture quickly. You should get 60 fps no matter what you do. I'm playing at the same rez you are - I have 2 x 3GB 580's but you should be sweet with your 590...I don't think the game is that intense. Just google Rage config and you'll find a bucket load of stuff. All of which was suppose to be fixed after the patch, but I found it didn't do much at all, hence why I still use a config file.
Hope it helps.
Yes, having a config. file

Yes, having a config. file placed inside the RAGE folder makes a world different. Runs much smoother and is now better optimized. Thank you for all your help!

Hayden's fix doesn't work anymore...wonder if they have updated the game recently.
