Well that's somewhat surprising. Then perhaps playing in offline mode might save you from a ban if all you plan on using it for is single player and/or the campaign. Using Eyefinity in multiplayer is probably a bad idea. I use the tool just to have the screen fit my TV and have had no problems playing multiplayer.

Like I said, I tried on the campaign, first mission... but I did the mistake to play online and not with a visitor option/offline...
I guess Blizzard checks the resolution and as this one (5040x1050) is not allowed.. they can raised alerts on profile who uses it...

Online, my bad.. so be careful with your accounts...

Hayden.

Can you please rename the file something else besides "CustomRes3.2.exe"?

Every time I try to download it, Norton auto deletes it, and I can't turn off that particular feature. =_=. I'm sure something like Starcraft Eyefinity would be awesome, who knows.

Thanks.

Sincerely.

Hayden has no control over that; I'm simply providing hosting for the tool and keeping all of his versions archived and distinguishable by an unofficial version number. So while I could provide a workaround for you, the temporary hosting link he provided still seems to be working at this time, so just grab it there instead and save me the time:

K. I tried it again. Norton deletes it because of it's reputation (Very Few Users).

Then it procedes to say that the file and orgin of download are safe in the next tab. WTF?

At the end of this subscription I'm gonna change my security provider. Who deletes a file because it's cutting edge?

has hayden stopped keeping up with the patches coming out with sc2?

or has everyone given up on playing it triple head in fear of getting banned?

This here is why I'm not buying StarCraft 2 anytime soon. Even though I was a huge (relatively speaking) StarCraft fan and played the game to death in my younger years. RTS developers should be embracing multi-monitors, not trying to block it.. its the way of the future.

The irony is that surround doesnt even give you an edge. My friend who is a high level diamond player (top 50 in US?) tried it and hated it. He found it far too cumbersome for high level play. My experience with eyefinity and RTS has been similar.

It would give a (very slight) advantage and be awesome IF they implemented it correctly. Meaning your mouse can't leave the center screen, the HUD is entirely on the center screen, and your side screens just give you more of the battlefield to view.

Does anyone know a solution to play SC2 with eyefinity mode turn on. I dont mean that i want to game to extend to all 3 screens but when i try to play, it just replicates the game on all 3 screens. Is there a fix where you can just have the game show up on one screen?

1) turn back to normal extended desktop. You should be familiar with this already. I have my two profiles hotkeyed, takes a few keystrokes to go from normal 3x1 to eyefinity 3x1

2) Windowed fullscreen or windowed mode will do it even with eyefinity on.

I have just downloaded and installed what was posted above as v3.2..... No luck getting it to work though. I'm playing the single player mode, so battle.net impacts are not an issue, I just want to see more :)

Starcraft version is 1.2.0.17326

Playing Full screen on one monitor at 1920x1200. Set that as "when resolution is..." and then 3840x1200 for the "rewrite with"..... didn't work... I get "Cant Find Resolution" tried Brute Mode but nothing either...
