Hm, I made an interesting find looking around the EVGA forums earlier today - and this was posted by an EVGA Forum moderator on March 29.
* These drivers will be available sometime April 2010 (Release 256.xx)
* This will only work on Windows Vista & Windows 7 (32/64)
* This will only work on GTX 260 and above
* SLI is required. The same applies to dual-GPU cards.
* You need 3x straight DVI connections, one to each monitor (HDMI connections currently not supported). DVI-HDMI adapters is currently not supported.
* You need to be using a minimum of 3 monitors.
* For Surround, they can be any model or size. But they all need to have same resolution, refresh rate, and sync.
* For 3D Surround, all displays must be the same make and model, and you need 3D Vision-Ready displays and products. See here.
* The maximum resolution for each monitor is 2560x1600 (5760x1080 max. combined)
When someone asked about the HDMI port, he responded:
The 295 is not SLI. It's two GPUs on the same card. You need two individual cards in SLI. The same applies for the 295, even if it's multi-GPU. The HDMI connection on the 295 will not work with 3D surround anyway.
When someone questioned his information, he replied:
I got confirmation from both EVGA and Nvidia.

Is there another article contradicting what he's said? I suppose in the end it doesn't really matter, either way I won't be using their surround gaming technology with my graphics card. :-( Just interested and confused about all of this.
