How does Wiimote support work in Dolphin? Do you need an actual Wiimote, or does it support a mouse for pointing, or what?
I don't have a Wii - there are only four games I have any interest in (TLOZ: Twilight Princess, Super Mario Galaxy, Resident Evil 4 Wii, and Metroid Prime Trilogy). But I might just buy those games to play on Dolphin if the emulation is good enough.
I'm also trying to see if I can get a homebrew game working on Dolphin, but the download says to extract the data to an SD card, while Dolphin wants me to give it an ISO. I tried making an ISO out of the homebrew game data, but that didn't work.
Well i'm not sure about the wiimote, i know that it does support a physical wiimote via bluetooth and you must have a sensor bar (can be made out of many things around the house, even two candles) The emulation is pretty good, depending on the game of course, some work better than others on different builds. For the most part i just play games that can use the gamecube controller so, i haven't tried that functionality yet.
I cant help you with homebrew, i played homebrew on an actual wii when i had it.
