Now seriously, what's the latest and most probable release date?
Any insight would be appreciated!

Considering 9.10 official driver release isnt out yet, and eyefinity isnt supported by crossfire cards I wouldnt be surprised to see them until mid/late novemeber when 9.11 either is in full beta or ready for retail.

I honestly expect them to have crossfire eyefinity ready for the X2 launch. Could be wrong but thats my prediction :P Sooner would be better, holding off for the rumoured 4gig X2's

I am waiting for the 4 gig 5870x2 also. I think with 3 x 1920x1200 or even 1080 you will need 2 gigs per core. We will see!

Well it needs to come out soon, 5870 is not even faster than a 4870X2 in most benchmarks I've seen so there isn't any point for those of us who have a 4870X2 to upgrade until they get CF support with EF.
