End of SLI/CF? Only if it does the 3 screen stuff well... Hydra is aiming at the high end, and that is now MM with both NV and ATi supporting it.

Well the review seems to say to me instead of opening up a whole load of SLI/CF problems you open up a whole load of Hydra problems. Unless things improve A LOT, I would stick with NV or ATi and there is one place to go when you have a problem rather than 3!

In the end Hydra seems to just be an alternative to SLI and CF
needs game profiles like SLI & CF
nice idea but very expensive and doesn't seem to bring any advantage on the table over SLI/CF
I expect failure of such an elite unfinished product like Ageia PhysX cards in their time...
plus I wonder who would be interested in buying them out since their technology isn't particularly interesting in the end.
