Prob with TH2G res

I just did a reinstall of Vista a few weeks back. But, now i have issues.

My triple res works OK.. 3 - 1280x1024

I installed mirror edge and it will not run even on a single monitor.

The monitor display that is cannot display the selected res.
optimal res 1280x1024...

So, i tried to select a 1 screen setup in the matrox tool (regular and beta driver) I has 1 screen 16:9 but no 5:4 res. can anyone help??

I tried to look around for an answer, but no luck so far

install older drivers lik 178.13 or 180.somthing then install the new GXM from matrox site and then during the install screen of gxm it will show 5040x1050 restart and it will be there

works for 32 bit vista dunno about 64

i don't need 5040x1050... i need mirror's edge to work in

3 - 1280x1024 or 1 - 1280x1024

I was able to force GXM to run a single monitor if i run the wizard, but cannot pick it as a selectable res.

I tried to run mirrors edge with single monitor but still it will not display.
it runs, because i have sound.... but no display..

anyone'???

check out the ini file with the res settings in it and make sure it is a res that your TH supports. The location of the file is in the DR for ME, in the surround section :)

Thanks... The res was set by default to 1600x1200. I changed it to 3840x1024 and it loaded no prob. Game runs, but not in 3840x1024.. Kinda.
The video option is set to 3840x1024. the game loads and plays in a widescreen like mode. Fills up center screen plus about 3 inches of the left and right screen.

I'd like to try the hack but TOCAEDIT has been down for some time now. :(

But, my other issue is... Why can i not select a 1 screen res with gxm?
Maybe, it's not even an issue. lol

Yeah that is the same as mine. Just set the res to 1280x1024 in the ini and play that way. I cannot get the hack to work at all for surround so have been playing it single screen.
