Me too!

However I purchased it with steam, and (although it has the same install thing) I have all my (80? or so) steam games on one disk and just run it straight from that disk- I don't install it. So hopefully that'll mean I won't have to worry about the installs

:) much more NK killing fun..more explosions..more vehicles...more fun than the original (IMO so far!)
I like the sound of that !
Where I ordered mine they ran out of stock so I haven't had mine ... I might get it on Steam ... which leads me on to ...

... could you explane exactly how you do this ?
If you reinstall the OS how do you tell Steam where the games are and how to run if they are not "installed" as such ... if you get my meaning.

Thanks bud !

Is there some file I can edit or command line option I can do? I don't see 3840x1024 in the dropdown when changing my resolution inside the game.

Thanks bud ! I do this as well. If you have a copy of the entire Steam folder, just open it up in your new OS and run Steam (from the folder) and it should see everything there.

Exactly that. There is a steam exe file in your steam folder run that and your off. In vista the first time it runs steam installs a service but in XP - nada.

If you are running Vista just go into:
>Games
>Right Click on Warhead
>Select:Customise
>Select a play command (you can make another one or just edit the one in use)
>Add "-DX9 +r_width 3840 +r_height 1024" without the quotes to the target line. You can try it in DX10 mode by not typing in '-DX9' but I dunno if it works.

Edit: In XP you can just add the above to your shortcut properties! Without the DX9 bit, obviously ;)

I'm able to select 3840x1024 from the in-game menu running in DX10 mode (confirmed by FRAPS). Oddly, the resolution dropdown ingame is a bit funky. Mousewheeling will not work, but if you find the obscure slider on the side of the window, you can drag down to the 3840x1024 selection.

Hey Mach,

I think I found a happy median between lighting quality and TH resolution: 3072x768.

I had never tried that res before.... but running in DX10 with all settings to GAMER but Shader Quality at ENTHUSIAST, I am not dropping below the mid-20's with multiple enemies on screen.

Running through heavy brush with lots of daytime lighting gives me high 40's-low 50's!

Gotta say... it is a very nice compromise between picture quality and the feeling of immersion that three screens give.

Curious what you (or anyone) thinks after trying it.....
