It appears to maintain HOR+ thankfully.

However for those with TH the cut scenes still don't work :(

Gotta crank hardware audio acceleration down or the game crashes w/ EAX capable soundcard !!?
And the game is still half-rockin', half-broken in TripleHead. :(
Sheesh.

The Upgrade is available:

Finally.

I eventually gave up trying to use the one server that Projekt RED had up for the download - it'd get anywhere from 16KB to 45MB before going wrong.

GamersHell mirror is working fine, though. :)

Anyone buy the EE, or just download the patches?

I'm currently wondering whether the store-bought EE requires Activation. As the patch does. :(

Plus, it'd be nice to have the extras in hard copy. ;)

Oiy, this peaked in Act II. It just kept getting worse. I think the game was actually trying to make me hurry up and finish it.

Seems like you didn't hurry that much actually
I remember enjoying the game through the end, but then again, I never reinstalled it or grabbed the EE so far. Not sure why.

EE fixed my biggest issue with the Witcher - which was the horrible load times.

The bonus content wasn't all that awesome.

And I have to say, I struggled through the Witcher before EE, because I found it was pretty good (nice to have a game where being a bastard doesn't make progressing nigh on impossible!) but haven't really had the energy to go back and play it through again to the end with EE.

Just finished the Witcher recently. I enjoyed it, good game. Didn't bother with the EE. Normal version worked well for me.
