I hard BF2 was great...never played it...I'm up for a UT3 server...or another TF2 server...can never have too many of those

Then use UT'99. it's an old game, supports widescreen, not so system demanding, and not so server demanding :wink:

It will be Neverwinter Nights. This was a pathetic sampling, but it wasn't advertised widely, we only really got votes from those who frequent here and care about gaming multiplayer. I will get to work setting up the server this week and hopefully this weekend we go live.

Any idea which version of NWN you will run? The newest 1.69 patch renders the game inoperable for me. I don't know if multiple versions are compatible in MP.

I can't get the server done this weekend. I thought I'd be able to, but it turns out, somebody stole my effin GTA4, so now I have to take 3 hours outta my day to haul a bunch of my shit to GameStop to trade it in with my Gamer's Edge account there to come even CLOSE to being able to afford a f---ing USED copy. ($45 after GE discount)

I'm gonna stop letting people into my apartment altogether from now on.

You're trying to get a copy of NWN? I thought they were just $20 now? At least, that's how much my Diamond edition was (at Gamestop too).

Also, you don't need to buy it to put up a dedicated server.

No I have the Deluxe Edition. I've got the game, and I know where to get the server, but thank you for your offer to help. I'm just bummed out today about having to go and trade in tons of stuff just to get another copy of GTA4 because somebody decided to be a dick and steal my copy. And people wonder why I have little hope for humanity, here's a great reason, I have people who've been my friend for years, stealing from me.

I'm hoping that somebody just borrowed it without permission. At least then I get my game back, and I know who to frisk before I let them out the door. But if it was stolen, it's long gone and somebody needs to get their ass kicked.

Well I've finished downloading the server. I'm going to see what it supports under windows before I move it to it's permanent home on the linux machine.
