Read Full Detailed Report - Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures

Based on the events and characters of Robert E. Howard's Conan the Cimmerian stories, Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures is a fantasy themed massively-multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that immerses players in a dark, expansive universe filled with ground-breaking brutal combat, dangerously intoxicating magical abilities, and the social and cooperative game features that MMORPG players crave.

Set in the later years of Conan’s life, after he has famously become king by his own hand, the game centers around the fragile state of Conan’s rule in Aquilonia. Surrounded by enemies and hostile nations, Conan’s rule hangs by a thread and in the end, it’s up to players, either singly or backed by their guilds to turn the tide for or against the embattled king.

I notice that the menu artwork is vert -, and in the character selection, it's stretched. Probably not something worth taking points off for - it's just ambiance after all.

Also, are you sure the HUD stretches? I can see that it gets bigger, but HUD stretch means that the HUD becomes too large in one dimension and not the other (usually becoming horizontally stretched), and I don't see that happening.

So, does the HUD stretch or does it not?

The other question is if 1440x900, 1680x1050, 1920x1080, and 1920x1200 are supported or not.

distorted text

Post by greybear »

In Eyefinity 6000x1200 I found distorted text over NPC and Players - looks like very small font which is not readable. Switch to lower resolution 5040x1050 doesnot help, swith to standad 16:10 1920x1200 fix this problem. Looks like just multi monitor issue.

The size of the text basically makes this game unplayable for PVP--you can't tell anyone's name. I contacted FUNCom about this issue and they said they have no plans to fix this. Has anyone found a work-around? I would love to play this again.
