Does the community time count the time you spent in the portal menu to pause the game as game time? Mine says 3 hours, but I went to the menu and had dinner while letting it run :)

The regular levels weren't very difficult. Let's see how the challenges are...

I bought the Orange Box specifically to play Portal. (Thankfully I'm liking what I've seen of Team Fortress 2).

Have you guys seen the freeware game "Narbacular Drop"? It's what the Portal designers made before Valve hired them to work on Portal. The graphics aren't as good but the concept was so brilliant it got them real jobs. :D

Finished all the Advanced ones! The last one was so absolutely awesome that i don't know why all the puzzles weren't that hard/amazing!! Loved it. Once i figured out what i had to do i couldn't stop grinning with glee at how mad it was with reflex timing.

I didn't get stuck on any until about quarter or halfway through the very last advanced map. Not sure how to proceed now :)

The final advanced one was pretty painfull, i spent over 30 minutes trying to figure out what to do and then do it.

LOL, I totally forgot Portal is an sp puzzle game. For some reason I kept thinking it was a type of mp play. If it's anywhere near 3 hrs worth of gameplay I guess that makes the price worth it for Episode 2.

Obviously don't watch it if you don't want it spoilt! It's by no means perfect and i die a few times through clumsiness. I just love that level so much though!

Yeah, I downloaded that with everyone else after the announcement; cool as hell. Though, I went into Portal thinking there was that portal-jump technique where you just make a portal through another one to get higher..

i have all the adanced levels beat, its the challenges that really are hard. Infact so hard I dont think I can do it even if I keep trying. I have gold on portals for the first two. But cant get time gold even on the first one, and the portals count for the last 4 I cant seem to get eather.

I loved this, I thought about doing some aswell for the challenges.

Its cool to see how somebody did things diffrently than you. I couldnt get the 4th gun in the one room and didnt think about jumping down into a portal for momentum I was putting portals at the very top of the wall and running thru a wall portal and jumping last second. Also there was an easier way to do the fling for the box if you look around the room. But your way worked great.

So what were your fraps settings? I think my laptop can do it better than my desktop lol. (plus I dont think I can put fraps on my desktop because I had the demo on there and it got all screwed up)
