This discussion is silly. phpBB supports custom tags. It would be a matter of seconds for an administrator to setup a custom tag to create a real [spoiler] tag. HTML tags can be used to set text and background to the same color.

E.g. "[spoiler]%1[/spoiler]"

gets turned into

"Spoiler, highlight to read:
%1"

This discussion is neither silly nor pointless. I have no idea about phpBB and how to create custom tag. Since after an argument about spoilers, there arose an imediate need for hiding these.

Getting a custom tag for spoilers are already up to discussion higher in the system. ;)

Thanks, I much prefer the custom spoiler tag. Good for hiding larger images as well.

Yea I have seen on other forums the spoiler tag with a button and when you click the button it reveals the spoiler and you can rehide it.

If we're going to go the colors route, at least get them right... I pulled these from the CSS file since that's what's dictating the color of ze forums.

td.row2 { background-color: #DEE3E7; }
td.row3 { background-color: #D1D7DC; }

Row 1 is the LIGHTER
Row 2 being the DARKER

The previous color codes were only 1 code off.

I have no idea what Row 3 is used for but it's not being used for our posts that's for sure.
