I was browsing through some things and I think I found a part that might help.
By default the computer will output as DVI-I, which is both digital and analog, that's why those bundled dvi2svga adapters work.
By pairing it with this:
DVI-I male to DVI-D male + VGA male splitter
http://www.startech.com/Product/ItemDetail.aspx?productid=DVIVGAYMM6&c=US
You can use both the DVI-D and SVGA parts at once, hence DVI-D to the TH2GO-D, SVGA to the 24" or HDTV.
You could further split the SVGA part using a straight SVGA->2 SVGA splitter. An example of that part is "nGear VGA Monitor Video Splitter", part no. 327-331. Of course depending on cable lengths might need an amplifier somewhere. I'm thinking as long as all cables are of the 6ft/2m kind it should work.
I wasn't sure if links to the retailers site were allowed/would be taken as advertising, so I didn't post em. As long as you're considering the extensions this might fit the same bill though.
This way lets you keep sli, full 3d on all screens, all you'd need is swap resolutions when you change which screen you're using. Actually to windows, you should look like you're on a single monitor.
Hmm, seems the driving both at once is dependent on the video card according to startech, how to check seems to be buy it and try it unfortunately, sorry if I got your hopes up for nothing :(
