Halo 2 For Vista, Triple Monitor Hack ?

Wasn't part of games for windows certification the ability to do widescreen rezs??? Halo2 is a flagship game for vista and this game doesn't support widescreen triplehead rezs? Man.....

Just because a game supports widescreen 16:9 and 16:10 resolutions does not mean it supports triplehead 12:3, 15:4, 5:1, and 16:3 resolutions.

Yeah, read the "Halo 2: Hypocrit addition" topic if you want to complain about Halo 2 and games for windows.

But i'm thinking Microsoft is going to go with an EA type of reaction for this one, and triplehead is a long way off.

NOTE: Triplehead isn't official 'widescreen' by industry terms (16:10 and 16:9) and isn't supported natively in many games at all, because developers don't want to bother to fix up the game to work with hardware that barely anyone has.

... and I beleve from that thread ... even though it does widescreen resolutions it is vert- ........... :(

It means that one is needed (but you knew that) ... whether it is possible is another thing ...
Hopefully eventually someone will fix it ... :D
