cod2 dirextx error when trying to change res

hey guys i got my new 24" monitor 2 days ago, and its brill, love it loads, but call of dusty two is been a pain in the ass as it wont change to 1920x1200 in game or in the config,





Is someone able to upload there config with the follow settings?

and my xfire is x3elite

hope you guys can help none of my mates have big changes anf i thought this would be the perfect place.

another way around is to do this
Go to where
E:Call of Duty 2mainplayersskeeder (obviously relocated somewhere else)

See how there are two profiles? one for Multiplayer one for single player.

Oddly I was having no issues with single player but just multi and didn't think to close Xfire since this has always worked.

So I copied the one from single player however be sure to remove
// generated by Call of Duty, do not modify
unbindall <---THAT otherwise you'll get no console.

Thats how I did it and I've had no issues since.
