play.com and amazon.co.uk

Play is great - I've lost count of the number of games I've pre-ordered on there and they've cost me £18 when other places are selling 'em for £28 (online) of £35 (high street)...

Amazon I use for slightly older things that Play has sold out of. Or obscure games that no one has ever heard of. ;)

Half Life 2: GOTY edition
Battlefield 2
Prey
Doom3 expansion pack

Would you believe that play.com doesn't sell FEAR ?!

Think I'll be getting it from amazon and order that new expansion pack for it as well 8)

I'm sure they did sell FEAR when it was first released... I've got a receipt around to prove it. ;)

Yeah they don't now. I tried several search terms on the site and even gave them a call about it.

Seemed strange that (in my opinion) one of the best PC games ever made was not available on their site.

Doesn't matter though, it's only £14.99 on amazon.
