How to use xfire with BF2 WS fix?

I'm new to xfire so I may be missing something, but...

as far as I can tell it looks for the .exe which doesn't have the WS fix like the shortcut does.

So when I try to join thru xfire it uses the bf2.exe directly without my WS resolution applied.

How can I fix this?
