This revamped version of Settlers II (basically the classic game rewritten on Settlers V engine) supports a whole load of widescreen solutions. Info based on press preview version.

Just downloaded this. I'm not a fan of remakes but this was the best settlers game and it looks great. Best thing is that the Geologists still "yipee" when they find things :D
Did run a little clunky on my laptop though.
Theres nothing like remembering the old times, my dad is going to love this news.
