Age of Empires II: The Conquerors widescreen support problem

How can I tweak it in order to display widescreen? The master game list stated a "cmd line" method but there are no explanation. Can anyone tell me how I can do it?

type in "age of empires 2" in the search field on the left and you should get a couple of hits that help you further. :)
