Nice! We're one step closer to getting an actual 21:9 fix going

Here's a cobbled together fix based off the AC IV plugin in Flawless Widescreen. It's not great but should do the job until someone fixes it properly. Just copy the contents into the Flawless Widescreen install directory. Once ingame you can choose the aspect ratio 21:9. Seems to work well in gameplay but the ingame cutscenes are still locked to 16:9.

If it doesn't work, try changing the aspect ratio back to 16:9 then to 21:9 and it should kick in.

So, someone help me how to get 21:9 cutscenes in 2560*1080?

Software Requirements:
1.HxD
2.ResHex (optional)


How to?
1. Open Program HxD > Click File and Open ACOdyssey.exe
2. Ctrl+F > Click "Hex Values" > Click Search Direction "All" > Write 39 8E E3 3F
3. change EVERY Instance and Replace Value With Hex Your Aspect Ratio Res , Here are the list


2560x1080 = 26 B4 17 40
3440x1440 = 8E E3 18 40
3840x1080 = 39 8E 63 40

other than that ,use this amazing ResHex program

Although you'll get a messed up and stretched HUD/menu using the above method.

Managed to get both gameplay and cutscenes at 21:9, but it's maxed out at 2560x1440 using flawless widescreen. Hoping someone can make a proper fix for 3440x1440

Hmmm I tried your fix and it doesn't work for 5760x1080 -> 3x 1080p screens in Nvidia Surround? I looked and it seems like it does not find the process if you look at FW UI and the white area that show the read outs it does not show the regular injection info when a fix takes and updates X process.

I am using a native Uplay version of the game legit/bought.

Any ideas? Thanks
