Ashen PC request UE4 fix for vert -

Hi community,

it is another great release of another UE4 game. While it was easy to get in contact with the Bearded Ladies, who released Mutant Year Zero on UE4 a few days ago (they said they want to patch it to HOR+ soon, yeah!), it is quite difficult to communicate with A44, who recently released Ashen. Which is basically a modern co-op soulslike with great reviews.

Sadly, it is another UE4 release that uses Vert-, and we all know what that means.
Can somebody come up with a Hex edit, modified .exe or something to fix it? You would be my hero.

BTW: Anybody got an idea why the UE4 engine comes with Vert- as default? Seems so counterproductive to me? Anything I am not seeing?

is not working anymore, as that usually comes as the first answer to this topic, I just thought we skip that already

I have also tried some HEX edits related to other UE4 games, applying to Ashen-Win64- Shipping.exe, yet the values used in other edits were not to be found.

Download this file depending on the desired resolution, Aspect Ratio > Extract.rar > Put Ashen-Win64-Shipping in Ashen\Binaries\Win64 and replace

Yup, seems to work pretty well in the early going. I'll have to see how much of distraction the cuts scenes are, but so far, a nice start. Thanks.

So,

finally the game got the Update that fixes Multiplayer on PC. Yeah.

Sadly it broke the fix.
Now, I can use the old .exe to apply the fix to the new patch and the game is running. Has anyone checked if Multiplayer is still possible with the .exe that Sushamat provided? If so, that would be amazing, as I only got 2 more days, before my best friends wife comes home from familiy visit and we could finally invest some serious time in this game

oh ya related to multiplayer i think would be fine because this game doesn't have any protection e.g Easy Anti Cheat and DRM Free !

Yeah, you can.

A44 said there will be another update later this week, that will most likely break the patch for PC though. So better be fast or hope for another update on the fix, then.
