(FAILED) Call of Duty 1/UO Widescreen fix 1366x768

So I tried all the solutions on here, nothing really worked but I saw in the comments that someone had a fix when his buddy gave him the config, I've been playing with this issue for years and I need help fixing it because apparently it is possible.

Did you try running the game in administrator mode ? I just played an old Quake 3 engine game and until I run it in administrator mode it wouldn't accept the new resolution.

Yeah, it's run as admin, apparently my issue is a bit more difficult due to my resolution.

Copy autoexec.cfg to Call of Duty\Main\ and Call of Duty\uo\

Copy Call_of_Duty.bat and CoD_United_Offensive.bat to the game folder and run game from this files.

Create shortcut for CoDUOMP.exe with following parameters:

+seta r_customheight "768" +seta r_customwidth "1366" +seta cg_fov "96.4" +seta r_mode "-1" +vid_restart

So, the "Target" field will be contain something like that:

"C:\Games\Call of Duty\CoDUOMP.exe" +seta r_customheight "768" +seta r_customwidth "1366" +seta cg_fov "96.4" +seta r_mode "-1" +vid_restart

Not sure, but maybe it's because anti-cheat system detect non-original files.
Try again with shortcut creating, but first, reinstall game to C:\Games\Call of Duty\ folder.
