Older games do not work with Surround i.e Rise of Nations

Hey guys question, I noticed some older and newer games don't play while I am in Surround mode.

Comes to mind:
Rise of Nations, League of Legends. Anyone have any idea? I have to disable Surround then go to one screen and go back when I am done. It's so annoying.

Be great to figure out a way to at least play the game on one screen without disabling then re-enabling Surround. For example when you go to setup surround ---> Disable Chrome, Disable Synapse. Enable Surround --> Reneable Synapse --> Reneable chrome, etc. Pretty repetitive not major but its a quirk.

Have you tried just resetting your desktop res to your native single screen res? For my case... When games only offer 1920x1080 and stretch that across 5760x1080, setting the desktop res to 1920x1080 allows the game to display properly.
