oh... and ASUS ARES 2 (same card)
4x Displayport 2x DVI (I+D)

I got this card on the way
it should be here this week.
I'm working on getting the Sapphire one in the picture that has the 4 mini-displayport + DVI-D to run crossfire 7990's. I have 3 Asus VG248QE 144Hz 1ms monitors and going to pick up 2 more from a friend next week. I will be using the Sapphire card as the primary in hopes to get all 5 working at 144Hz. This new computer will be at PDXLAN in July and on display at PAX Prime this year.
All I need now is the WSGF Stand for my 5 monitor portrait setup. I'm also thinking of taking all the bezels off to get them closer together. I want to de-matte them but I don't have the balls to do so. LoL

Here is my new build I am working on.

MMmmm
I am hoping to read your results soon, especially about the view angles (because TN panel) in portrait, the performance of 2x7990 with eyfinity (possible stuttering), the games that perform well enough in FPS to realy benefit from the super high refresh reate of 144Hz, and the possible tearing of using dp with dvi.
Dont get me wrong, i don't intend to sound negative, because if the above problems are resolved then this will be an UBER set-up! Respect!
To bad 5 x 320+ euro's for monitors is a little bit above my budget, never mind 2 x 7990
(5x u2311 and 1 x 7990 with 1 MST hub is on my list so far)
3xU2311H_portrait+HD6970+2500K@4Ghz+P67Ex4Gen3+8GB+M4_128GB+4x500GB_raid10+Raven_RV01= a little outdated but still nice pc gaming fun

Nice work! I was almost going to by multi projector setup then i saw the CallsignVEGA's ASUS VG248QE Surround Portrait Setup and thought it would be awesome. Now i cant decide between 3 monitor and 5. I already have 2 titans so i guess ill try 3 in surround first and then see how good the light boost is. If its not a massive improvement for me ill go 5 and AMD.
Well done again with your setup and all the best with getting your AG coating off. Please make sure you take pictures or film it. Thanks

Re: Cards that Support Eyefinity 6 (5 as well)
Nice list
More complete than what I was able to come up with when I was looking for a new card a little while ago (at http://www.overclock.net/t/1248208/7xxx ... tputs/0_50), however, there seems to be one of the 7870 Eyefinity 6 versions missing. There is also a Club3D version of that card (at http://www.club-3d.com/index.php/produc ... yefinity-6 )
Re: Cards that Support Eyefinity 6 (5 as well)
About one year late, thought.

Re: Cards that Support Eyefinity 6 (5 as well)
I just updated the list with the AMD FirePro S10000 6GB [1xDL-DVI, 4xMiniDP]. It looks like a 7990 repurposed.
EDIT: Also added Colorfire XStorm 7850 X6 Eyefinity Pro 2GB [6xMiniDP] and VTX3D HD 7870 X-Edition 2GB [6xMiniDP] - Have not found this for sale anywhere.
EDIT 2: Just added ASUS MATRIX 7970 GHz Edition 3GB [4xDP,2xSL-DVI]* as well.

Better question is how's availability. Looks like another vaporware card.
News is trickling out about the new R9 200 series cards (release October/November). The AMD R9 290X should come with 2x DVI, 1x HDMI and 1x mDP. It will however come with a small bump to 4GB vram. C'mon AMD and manufacturers, give me a 6mDP 8GB version to gobble up

Man, I don't know if we'll ever get it again. I think AMD thinks everyone will just use the MST HUB, but it's not able to be found easily in the USA. My lightnings are okay for 3 monitors, but without having at least 5 miniDP, I cant do 5 monitors without at least having one monitor not syncing. I think AMD's going to push me to 4K and just running 3840x1080 (32:9) or 3840x1646 (21:9) or even 3840x720 (48:9) but that might be too small, but great for recording Eyefinity gameplay videos.

Looks like the Radeon R9 295x will be 4x mDP + 1x DVI. It's currently rumored to have a $1500 price tag but I'm still excited!

Updated, I also added the Firepro W9100. It can handle 6 4K screens @ 60Hz. This is the first time I've seen the ability for an AMD card to have more than 6 video streams (it's would take 12 for current 4k monitors).

Re: Cards that Support Eyefinity 6 (5 as well)
Updated with:
Eyefinity 5
SAPPHIRE NITRO Radeon R9 390 8GB [3xDP(1.2),1xDVI(DL),1xHDMI(1.4)]
GIGABYTE GAMING-8GD Radeon R9 390 8GB [3xDP(1.2),1xDVI(DL),1xHDMI(1.4)]
SAPPHIRE Radeon R9 390X 8GB [3xDP(1.2),1xDVI(DL),1xHDMI(1.4)]
GIGABYTE GAMING-8GD Radeon R9 390X 8GB [3xDP(1.2),1xDVI(DL),1xHDMI(1.4)]
Eyefinity 6
PowerColor AX7850 Radeon HD 7850 2GB Eyefinity 6 Edition [6xMiniDP]
Not sure about this one. It has 5 ports and is a R9 370, but it looks like it's a rebrand of the 7850, so can it use all of it's outputs?
Potentially Eyefinity 5
HIS Radeon R7 370 IceQ X OC 2GB [2xMiniDP(1.2a),1xDVI(DL),1xDVI(SL),1xHDMI(1.4a)]
Let me know if I missed some of the new cards coming out. I think it's stupid that we still don't get top tier cards with Eyefinity 6 ability. The fury X should have had 6xMiniDp 1.2a so that we could do 6x4K @ 60Hz Freesync.

Re: Cards that Support Eyefinity 6 (5 as well)
Which ones? The 3440x1440 ones or 2560x1080?
I'm certain that you can run 6x2560x1080 of a fury x, it would just require 2 (although I'd recommend 3) MST HUBs. Eyefinity doesn't like when you mix connection types, so going full display port would be most recommended. It get rid of a tearing issue due to timings being different on DP versus DVI/HDMI.
I just realized you didn't say ULTRA-widescreen, what's the resolution of the monitors? This is more important than anything.
