With the release of Tomb Raider, AMD announced a released a new DX11 feature - TressFX. In case you haven't seen the results, I've put together this comparison using the Tomb Raider benchmark feature.

Have to admit, I had to look at the tress link to find out what the difference was supposed to be ;)
So now you can choose between greasy and newly washed hair! Seems to have problems calculating the collisions with the body though...

That, and some of the shadows are wonky. Those aren't as noticeable in-game. Fewer shadows in the bit I've played, and you're more focused on the action.

so... its like physX for amd?

Except that it's not proprietary. The API can be run on NVIDIA hardware as well.
