I am running 3 HP ZR24W monitors in portrait and 2 Asus 6950s in crossfire. Vsync will not work in fullscreen. FPS caps at 120, and I get as much tearing as I do with it off. In windowed mode, vsync works properly. (No tearing, 60fps cap)
As far as I've been able to determine, ATI Eyefinity does not, and has never worked with vsync in fullscreen. I would like confirmation, or someone to post that they do have it working. I plan to upgrade to Nvidia because of this. Im crossposting in the Nvidia forum asking to confirm that Vsync works properly with Nvidia Surround.

Re: Eyefinity and Vsync
What did you do to get it to work? What FPS cap does it give you? For me, it has zero effect, and I've tried everything to fix it, to the point where I was convinced switching brands is the only solution.
The only way I've been able to get vsync to work is by using windowed mode.

it works native! haven't tried all games tough. but it caps at 60fps. and 30fps if I run out of performance.

Try the RadeonPro 1.1.1.0 Preview. It has a couple of Vsync methods that you could try. It also has a method where you can set your own frame limit. Doesn't work with every game but most work fine.
