IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles
Could someone help me with this game is there a widescreen fix for this game and if so could someone share it with me. I have done a search in this forum and found that there might be one but the fix it is not listed anywhere.

Sorry - I can't remember anything offhand. What list was this game mentioned in? Widescreen natively, or by hack?

I read over that thread again... this is really odd, because I remember putting that solution in a thread of it's own. And this isn't the first time that a thread has suddenly gone AWOL for no apparent reason...

Can the person who originally posted the IL-2 solution repost it, please?

If not, I guess I go demo hunting...

I have found that by editing the conf.ini file in the games root directory you can get widescreen.

You need to change the following settings (use whatever width and height you want to play with):

[window]
width=1280
height=768
SaveAspect=0

It will then crop a bit off the top and bottom, but this game freely allows you to change the FOV, so increase the FOV a bit and roberts your mothers brother.
