Eyefinity Group with 20-30-20

Hey there

My Name is aixo and i'm a Triplescreenlover from Switzerland :) My English isnt' very nice to read, but i hope it works for my Question here, Thank you for your consideration.

Today its done! I have completed my Triplescreen Setup! Here a Picture :)



My Hardware: Core i5, 16GB DDR3, ATi 7950, 2x 120GB Vertex3 SSD @ Raid-0, Dell 3007W, 2x Dell 2007FP Pivot

If i create a Displaygroup via Catalyst Suite, i can't define, that my left and right Screen are in Pivot Mode. Catalyst always perform all Screens in Horizontal Mode... :(
Have anyone here an Idea about that Issue? Can i define somewhere in the Suite, that i use 2 Screens in Pivot and just one in horizontal mode?

PLP aka Portrait Landscape Portait mode is NOT supportet in Eyefinity/Surround.

The only way to get it running is Games in "Window" mode or use SoftTH (not sure about that, someother people here know more about that)

I only like to play World of Warcraft with this Setup. The 30" is great enough for it, but if i can use all Screens for WoW, it will be awesome :) The Problem is, that the Explanation on softth.com is about a older Build of WoW with softth 1.7b, in the actual Release 5.0.4 u don't have gxResolution entry in the config.wtf File, so u can't add 4960x1600 to the Resolution Menue of WoW. If anybody use Softth with actual Warcraft Build, tell me please the Configuration - Thankyou! :-)

mhmm, Windows Mode ? and if you dislike the bars Maximized window mode? but i assume that won't work.

No, cause x and y axis of the Gamewindow are fixed. (Proportional) i think i just need someone here in the forum who play WoW's actual Build with PLP or also with 3 screens, who can tell me where i can fix the resolution (in which file) :-)

Sorry I can't help except to say PLP Eyefinity isn't supported and you'll need to run in windowed mode. Welcome to the forum though...

Also, I'll be in Switzerland next week hiking through the Bernese Oberland area and then a few days in Zurich - I am pretty excited :)

Windowed Mode doesn't work, because the WoW Windows scales proportionally. In the German Forum from Hardwareluxx someone tells me, that this will not work with DirectX11. Cause i've updated my system 2 Weeks before to Windows 8 with DX11. Hope it comes a newer Version of Softth or a better Version of Eyefinity ;-)
