HDMI M to Mini DisplayPort M Cable

Will this work for a third monitor?

Basically the setup would be three tvs with HDMI. First two use HDMI to DVI cables, third uses HDMI to Mini DisplayPort cable. I keep reading about active and passive adapters etc., but it would seem much simpler to just buy a cable, no?

Nevermind, looks like these cables have gone the way of the dinosaur. Guess I need to look into getting an active adapter then? =(

You always need an active adapter if you are going to use DP on the third monitor. Those cables wouldn't let you use 3 without adapter. :)
