Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit HUD fix?

Greetings! I did some searching and didn't find any solutions. I'm basically looking for a way to fix the HUD in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. When playing in NV Surround, some of the HUD elements (track, etc) are way off to the left and right. In particular, the map HUD is really vital for seeing where shortcuts and whatnot are located. The game looks so awesome on 3 displays, I don't want to go back to playing on 1 monitor :(

How did you get Hot pursuit to run at nv surround resolution
its a 14 year old game and I cant get it to run at more than 1024x768

I'm pretty sure he meant the newer version that came out in 2010. I'm trying to play it as well. Works great in surround mode, but as he mentioned, map and needful information is way off to the right.
