Wither 2 enhanced edition with widescreen hack

Hiya

I finally manged to download the version from gog, get it to run bby disabling the acrobat library, and finally managed to get the hack to run: result: white crosshair on black screen for a moment, then black screen. Game can be ended by hitting relevant key combinations, so it is clearly not crashed, just the display is black. 3840 x 1024, 2*HD6950, Catalyst 12.4, widescreen fixer 3.2 r461

Any ideas?
