3rd monitor wont enable

hi guys im running hd 5770 and when i set it up its saying the 3rd monitor is enable im using three 32in lcd all the same i have displayport adapter etc can you help

Is the display port adapter an active adapter? That's generally the first issue that comes up.

yes the displatport is active when windows start up left and middle screens load up but when the loading is finished the left screen goes out and the right and middle screens are on

He means you need an "active adapter" like this one: Sapphire active adapter. The passive ones like this won't work. So what adapter do you have?

yes i have that SAPPHIRE Active DisplayPort Adapter i looked at the link and yes they are the same

Just to make sure, often the passive and active adapters almost look identical. Is Active written on the adapter?

yes the same as that written on the dvi end is active

panasonic 1080p all 3 are the same and i and running windows xp s2 does eyefinity work on xp im now thinking no ?

Hahaha, well that's an issue. No it doesn't and currently the only solutions on XP is SoftTH and TH2Go. Make yourself a Win7 Partition on a new disc and be Good to Go.

ok then, but i also have th2go and still will not pick up the third screen the same thing happens,if i could get the third screen active yes th2go or softth with xp, do u think windows 7 and run eyefinity

Thread necro on a year old thread, plus your information is inaccurate...

The requirement is for an active dp-to-dvi adapter on the third display. Not anything to do with CCC 12.1 or 12.2.
