Another question on TH2G DP Edition

Post by LONDONF »

Gents,

I am totally new to wide screen gaming and may have made my first costly mistake.

I bought a TH2G DP Ed to run with GTX480 on 3 27inch screens.

connectivity turns out to be an issue.

I think I can get 3 cables Displayport to HDMI to take care of output.

Question is will a Displayport to HDMI coupled with an HIMI ti DVI adapter (which plugs into one of the 2 DVI output of the GTX 480) work for the INPUT of the TH2G?

or did I buy the wrong TH2G...

Any advice appreciated!

1 DisplayPort input = requirement

the GTX 480 does not have a display port :( You need the "digital edition".

Correct me if I am wrong, as I have looked into TripleHead2Go and it is on order. I have GTX 480, but I picked the "Digital Edition".

That's right. TH2G DP requires DP input i.e a DP graphics card, although you can use adapters on the outputs to connect DVI/HDMI monitors.
