world of warcraft on dlp

Post by jalmashy »

I have a mitsubishi 57" dlp and want to play wow on it. I have an ultra nvidia 8800 video card and hooked through hdmi. When on the desktop is looks great in 1080, but when I launch the game it goes to the blue screen like it does when nothing is connected until I alt tab out of warcraft. Prob something simple but I don't get it....

Do any other games cause the same symptoms? It might be that the resolution WoW is starting with is out of range of the HDMI input on your TV. You would need to go in and edit the config.wtf file to make the resolution 1920x1080 (assuming your screen is Full HD) and then try it.
