Eyefinity with 3 4:3 screens

I am now to this forum but I think looking around this would be the best place to ask this question. I was wondering if any of you run eyefinity with three 4:3 screens. and does anyone run with 4800*1200 at all?

I am thinking of getting another 2007fp screen or would you think that getting three 16:9 screens would be better.

Well any time you can go wider, that's better. But yes you can use 3x4:3 screen with eyefinity no problem. The 2007fp is a decent monitor. Go for it.

Wider may be better but the person who ultimately decides is you OP. It all depends on how much cash you have to spend and if you have the space for these monitors. I find that space is the ultimate deciding factor, you do not want your monitors to hang over the edge of your desk or table. BAD things will happen.

Once upon a time I had three Dell 2007fps and I stripped the bezels off of them. They were great and it definantly was not worth the money I spent to replace them with three dell U2410s. Go for it OP and if you are daring you should strip the bezels off like I did as it was a great improvement.

l88bastard that setup does look nice. Not sure if I would try modding the monitors but I think I will go for another 2007fp. The 3 one will fit fine on my desk and if i was to go for WS monitors I would have to go for 22 inch ones to fit on the desk and I would lose some pixel hight as 22's on come in 1080 hight. Not sure if I could live with losing pixel hight for normal software use.
